Private Judging
Private judging is an approach between arbitration and litigation with the process where parties in dispute agree to choose a neutral person to act as a private judge. The private judge who may be a former judge with expertise in the area of the dispute, will hear the case and make a decision similar to a judge.
Private Judging is gaining popularity, especially in commercial situations, because disputes may be settled much quicker than under the traditional court system.
With over 19 years of experience, Judge Jim Hill – of Council has the ability to act as a private judge to delicately lead both parties to an agreement.
